International Programs
The Center hosts delegations from all over the world at its Washington, D.C., offices. Many of these visits are short, informational briefings covering the U.S. judicial system and the work of the Center. The Center also hosts multiday programs exploring in greater depth topics requested by visiting groups, including curriculum development, judicial ethics, case management, and alternative dispute resolution. At the request and with the funding of other organizations, on a limited basis, Center staff occasionally travel abroad to participate in conferences and assessments or to lead workshops related to judicial education and research. The slideshow below highlights some of these programs, beginning in 1972.
