| 1. The act of June 18, 1910, 36 Stat. 539, created the Commerce Court and provided for the Chief Justice of the United States to assign each of its five judges to a judicial circuit for simultaneous service on the U.S. circuit courts and U.S. courts of appeals. In accordance with the act, Chief Justice Edward D. White assigned Julian Mack to the Seventh Circuit. In 1929, Judge Mack was reassigned to the Second and Sixth Circuits and in 1930, he was reassigned exclusively to the Second Circuit. | ||||
