At the request of the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, Center staff traveled to teh Philippines in 2016 for consultations with leadership and staff of the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA). Meetings were held at the Academy's training center in Tagaytay. The program included discussion of research and assessment as well as the development of practical guides for judges.
