Judge Abdul Saboor Hashimi from Mazar-i-Sharif was selected to participate in the Fellows Program by then-chief justice of Afghanistan, Abdul Salam Azimi, one of the drafters of Afghanistan’s 2004 constitution. Judge Hashimi developed a criminal trial bench-book for Afghan judges.
