Visiting Fellows
The Visiting Fellows Program offers foreign judges, lawyers, court officials, and professors from other countries the opportunity to spend two-three weeks as scholars in residence at the Center. Fellows undertake research related to legal or judicial reform underway in their home countries. The International Office provides research assistance and coordinates meetings with judges and other experts in the DC-area.
The Center hosts a limited number of Fellows each year. The program is open March - June and September - November. Fellows must arrange their own funding, travel, housing, and visas.
An application form can be accessed here (link is external).
The program, initiated in 1992, has included over 100 participants from more than 30 different countries. A list of recent fellows can be found here. The timeline below highlights a few of the program participants.
